Rockstar released no trailer and no press release. It did something closer to a music campaign: it let artists post, almost simultaneously, crops of game illustrations nobody had seen. A club, a pool, a yacht, an iguana. Alone they say little; together they are the first serious clue to how GTA VI will sound.

Who posted what

The original posts

These are the posts exactly as the artists published them on 15 September, from their official accounts. They are embedded from Instagram and X, with their authors; we do not host them.

The matching images

The most interesting detail is not who posted, but that several posted exactly the same image:

• The sports car with a Leonida plate: Future, Metro Boomin and Yung Lean.
• The yacht: CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Fred again.. and the account linked to PinkPantheress.

The theory that has spread is that a shared image means a shared song. Future and Metro Boomin have a history of collaborating, so it fits. But it is inference: neither Rockstar nor the artists have said so.

A range that says a lot

Few lists put a Rolling Stone, America's biggest country star and an Argentine duo together. That points to a very varied radio:

It fits what was already heard in the Extended Look, where Phil Collins, Kodak Black, Depeche Mode and Chimbala's dembow sat side by side. Every confirmed song is in this guide.

What we don't know

• Whether the list is complete. Posts kept arriving through the day and sources disagree on the exact count.
• What role they have. Songs on the radio is the obvious answer, but the series has precedent for more: Dr. Dre was a character in GTA Online and Phil Collins appeared in Vice City Stories.
• Which songs. Nobody has given titles.
